Cultivating Contentment Part I

Swami Tattwamayananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order of India and a former acharya (instructor) at the Order’s monastic Probationers’ Training Center at Belur Math, Kolkata, India. He is a scholar in Sanskrit, Vedic studies, and Indian philosophy, with a special focus on Advaita Vedanta and the study of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature. He was assigned to various centers of the Ramakrishna Order in India as editor, writer, and teacher. In addition to Sanskrit and Indian philosophy, he also taught Hindu, Vedantic, and Buddhist scriptures. He is often invited to attend international conferences on traditional Vedic scriptures. In January 2012, he came to the United States as assistant minister in San Francisco upon request of the Order. As of July 2014, he is the minister in charge of the Vedanta Society of Northern California.
