My child, you have been extremely fortunate in getting this human birth.  Have intense devotion to God.  One must work hard.  How can one achieve anything without effort?

Rely on Him, be like the dry leaf at the mercy of the wind.

Only he who loves, can rule.

The wind of God’s grace is always blowing – unfurl your sail.

Look here – we shall all die! Bear this in mind always, and then the spirit within will wake up.  Then only, meanness will vanish from you, practicality in work will come, you will get new vigor in mind and body, and those who come in contact with you will also feel that they have really got something uplifting from you.

At the center of the universe there is a Mother-Heart.

You see, it is not a fact that you will never face dangers.  Difficulties always come but they do not last forever.  You will see that they pass away like water under a bridge.

I pray that none be dragged any wither by the unseen power of his past actions.  I pray that all may be free, that is to say, may know that they are free.  And, if they are to dream again, let us pray that their dreams be all of peace and bliss.

When the Lord takes away something, then he gives something: something else – something better.

We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think.  Words are secondary.  Thoughts live; they travel far.

We are lamps and our burning is what we call life.

Man is like an infinite spring coiled up in a small box, and that spring is trying to unfold itself.

Infinite faith and strength are the only conditions of success.

Education is a word that implies the power to survey a situation and put ourselves into a right relation to it.

The disciple must have great power of endurance.  Life seems comfortable; and you find the mind behaves well when everything is going well with you.  But if something goes wrong, your mind loses its balance.  That is not good.  Bear all evil and misery without one murmur, without one thought of unhappiness, resistance, remedy, or retaliation.  That is true endurance; and that you must acquire.

If you want an invisible guide, who not take God?

Ask yourself; “What is it I want? Do I want this fleeting life of transient pleasures or do I want the eternal bliss of everlasting life?”

The more you grow in discrimination and dispassion, the more power you will manifest.  Even if you yourself are not aware of it, others will feel it

In the midst of the manifold, he who sees that One; in the midst of this infinite death, he who sees that one life; in the midst of the manifold, he who sees that which never changes in his own soul – unto him belongs eternal peace.

Man is bound to make mistakes.  One Should not notice them.  If one does not observe this rule, it harms one.

The fact that you have this restlessness of mind shows that the Mother is gracious to you. The earnestness to realize her and the lack of peace because you have not been able to do so are the symptoms of her grace.

It is selfishness that we must eliminate! I find that whenever I have made a mistake in my life, it has always been because self entered into the calculation. Where self has not been involved, my judgment has gone straight to the mark.

God does not dwell somewhere beyond the clouds. He is in the heart of all living beings. God comes before us in the form of the ignorant, the needy, the diseased, the destitute, the famished- so that we may serve him in these forms and thus edify ourselves.

Have intense love for God and the mind will always remain tranquil and pure.

I do not love religion. I have become identified with it. It is my life. So no man loves the thing in which his life has been spent, in which he really has accomplished something. That which we love is not yet ourself.

Each one of us is a repository of infinite power. If we can manifest our latent capacities, we will become almost all-powerful.

Make this world your own by loving all. Let there be no stranger, let there be no foe or enemy. Let there be no pride or egotism in us. Let the world be united in love as one race. Know that love alone is true-all else is fleeting, false.
