Harmony of Religions: Talk at Stanford 2016
– Talk by Swami Tattwamayananda at Stanford University on 02/02/2016 as part of the celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week.
Swami Tattwamayananda is currently the Minister-in-charge of the Vedanta Society of Northern California, San Francisco. Before coming to the United States in January 2012, he was teaching Sanskrit, Vedantic scriptures and Indian philosophy at the Training centre in Belur Math, the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission, Kolkata, India. He has also served in various centres of the Ramakrishna Order in India as editor, publisher, and teacher of Sanskrit, Advaitic texts such as Sri Shankaracharya’s commentaries on the Prasthanatraya and Indian philosophy. The Swami has received traditional education in Sanskrit and Vedantic scriptures and is frequently invited for lectures on Yoga, Vedanta, and traditional Hindu scriptures.
