Siddhanta Kaumudi

Siddhanta Kaumudi

Siddhanta Kaumudi is a critical and scholarly commentary on the sutras [aphorisms] of Panini by Bhattoji Dikshita, a stalwart grammarian of the Panini system. The sutras are arranged topic-wise and fully explained with example and counter-examples. The work is next in importance to the Mahabhashya in the system of Panini, and its study prepares the way for understanding the Mahabhashya.

The present book is the translation of the above book in two volumes by Srisha Chandra Basu. (Sold as set of 2 volumes.)
