The relationship between Swami Vivekananda and Sister Nivedita has been enigmatic to some and unknown to many. The author has beautifully depicted their spiritual relationship along with giving an insight into what Swami Vivekananda expected of Sister Nivedita in her Indian work. Not everything in this book is a "new finding".  It is based on the Life of Swami Vivekananda by His Eastern and western Disciples and Swami Vivekananda in the West: New Discoveries.  Here the author has, however, unearthed some new information from various newspapers, reports, articles, and other writings that fill up some gaps left in the previous works.  An unusual feature of this book is that the information about Swamiji has been categorized according to the different American states that he visited.

As with the earlier "New Findings" penned by the author, the present book is also a time-place-person-centered narrative.  The author's narration is chiefly based upon the 'Life of Swami Vivekananda' by his Eastern and Western Disciples as well as 'Swami Vivekananda in the West : New Discoveries' by Marie Louise Burke. Yet some new pieces of information have been studded by the author into the already existing biographical fabric compiled by his predecessors. The author uses his imagination to also presume the possibility of certain events connected with Swamiji having occurred, of which there is no direct evidence, yet which seems circumstantially probable. This book is different from 'Vivekananda in Europe' by Swami Vidyatmananda which was brought out by Advaita Ashrama in 2012.
